First Snow of the Season
I awoke this morning to find 3" or so of light, fluffy snow on the ground. It's only on the grass; it hasn't stuck to the streets or the sidewalks, at least not in our area. And it'll likely be gone by tomorrow. But it is snow nonetheless.

Holy mackerel! Snow on October 12? A harbinger of long snowy winter?

I don't think this snow is going away tomorrow.
It's been snowing steadily all morning here, with big thick flakes.

Ours is already gone here, and the sun is shining.
What a difference 40 miles makes.
(Of course, LM is probably dealing with some lake effect snow. Yes, we get lake effect here.)

We still have 2 or 3 inches on the ground here. If it is warm tomorrow, it'll probably melt. I hope it sticks though.
