U.S. Citizenship Test
This is borrowed from a thread at the Hero Games Discussion Boards:
Do you have what it takes to become a citizen?
I scored 95%. The average score on the boards seems to be between 80% and 85%. 80% is the cutoff for passing the test.
True, I guessed on a couple of questions. And it was multiple choice, which made several of the questions a lot easier than if I'd had to supply the information without any kind of reminder. Still, I'm pretty pleased at how I did.
I'd be interested to see how regular readers (if any) do on it.

How could you be taking it cold? You obviously weren't in your house...

Wishful thinking. :)
And on of the ones I missed was just a mind blank. With a bit of thought I would have got it.

90. I screwed up the original 13 colonies and the naturalization form question.

I got the original 13 colonies, because I watched 1776 on the 4th, and remembered them from the numerous roll calls throughout the movie. :)
I screwed up the voting amendment and the chief justice (the second being my brainfreeze).

I got 90% my 2 wrong answers were the 13 original states and I said the president could declare war, I then remembered that he could send troops over for a police action or such for 60 days, but has to get congresses approval for it to be declared a war.

70% . . . oh dear. I'm not going to say another word.

90 %. I also missed the naturalization form, but the number of justices was also an issue. I should have remembered that....I've been reading about a number of Supreme Court decisions lately.

I got a 95%--I missed the Chief Justice question. But if I hadn't just taken that American History class, I would have probably gotten a 70% or maybe even lower. So don't fret too much Wendy! :]
Love to all!
